Upside-down cup and spear
Fuku-Haku Deai Bridge is a 78.2 meter long bridge that crosses over the Naka river and connects Nakasu and Nishi-nakasu.
The name 'Fuku-Haku Deai Bridge' is derived from its location where the samurai town of Fukuoka and the merchant town of Hakata meet.
Drawing inspiration from Fukuoka's folk song 'Kurodabushi', upside-down cups and spears are incorporated in the design of the bridge. The bridge is also equipped with benches, gas lamps, and flower gardens, and has become a popular tourist spot.
